Mike Schum

Mike Schum has extensive work experience in product development, project management, and leadership roles. Mike is currently the Vice President of Product Development at Fortune Brands Innovations, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Product Development at Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group from November 2019 to April 2023. Before joining Fortune Brands, Mike worked at Moen Incorporated, where they held various roles including Senior Director of North American Product Development, Group Manager of Target Marketing, Director of Global Sourcing, Director of Global Operations at Creative Specialties International (a division of Moen), and Senior Project Manager. Mike also has experience as a Business Manager at Magna International and as a Product Design Engineer and Manufacturing Process Engineer at Ford Motor Company.

Mike Schum attended the University of Detroit Mercy, where they earned a BSE in Mechanical Engineering. Mike also pursued an MBA at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
