Alba Ruiz Leon

Alba Ruiz Leon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alba is currently the COO (Chief Operating Officer) at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), where they strategically oversee operations, asset management, and continuous improvement teams. Prior to that, Alba was the Managing Director at Cornwall Insight Australia, leading the local Melbourne team and supporting the company's expansion into Australia. Alba also founded and served as the Managing Director of AMO Renewables, offering asset management optimization services to various industries, with a focus on energy and renewable technologies. Alba has held management positions at RWE Renewables, GHD, Ausenco, EnergyAustralia, and ACCIONA, where they gained experience in operations, maintenance, asset management, and contract management. Alba has also worked at DLR, The German Aerospace Center, and FH Joanneum as a project manager, project engineer, research scientist, and university teacher.

Alba Ruiz Leon has an extensive education history. Alba began their academic journey at West Valley High School in California, where they completed their senior year in 1999, focusing on science. After graduating, they enrolled at the University of Navarra, where they pursued an Engineering Degree in Industrial/Mechanical from 1999 to 2005. During their time at the University of Navarra, they also obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Industrial Management & Information Technologies from 2004 to 2005.

In 2008, Alba pursued further education and obtained an Engineers Australia Certificate in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from Engineers Australia. Alba also completed a PhD in Aerospace Post Graduate Degree at RMIT University, starting in 2007 and ending in 2009.
