Melissa Garza

With over 20 years of HR experience, Melissa has led HR teams at various Fortune 200 and 500 companies in diverse businesses from technology, to insurance & financial services, to supermarket retail. Prior to joining Fourth, Melissa was the Chief People Officer at LogRhythm. Her mission is to bring out the best in others.

Melissa thrives leading global initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments to support business goals and build organizational capability. She is passionate about employee and leadership development including coaching, facilitation, training, and development. A certified Professional in Human Resources, Melissa is a proud Longhorn who holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, an MPA from Texas State University, and professional certifications in Organizational Development, Mediation/Conflict Resolution and professional affiliations with several HR/OD/Coaching organizations.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling internationally and has left her heart permanently in Italy. She loves spending time with her two nephews Gael and Mauro, working out, and reading. She loves most types of music and used to follow her brother’s band around as they toured. Melissa has been married to Tim Wood for 18 years who hails from Dursley, England (for the Harry Potter fans out there). She and Tim are also avid Arsenal Football Club fans.
