Louay Akkad

Louay Akkad is an Engineering Leader currently working at Fresha, where Louay leads B2C teams in the Marketplace division to enhance user experience in wellness and beauty. Prior to Fresha, Louay held positions at McKinsey & Company as a Staff Software Engineer and at Urban Massage as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Urban Massage, Louay was responsible for laying down the architecture of logistics, payments, accounting systems, and the multilingual front-end. Louay also played a key role in scaling the product and team growth. Louay obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computing from the University of Portsmouth.
