Aanchal Varma

Aanchal Varma is a seasoned data scientist with a robust background in natural language processing and machine learning. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Freshworks since October 2021, Aanchal has previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as an NLP & Speech Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India from July 2019 to October 2021, where Aanchal developed text analytics solutions and worked on speech recognition technologies for the Bixby voice assistant. Aanchal began a career at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, first as a Teaching Assistant in the Computer programming course and later as a student representative and joint secretary for club activities promoting cleanliness and sustainability. Aanchal's skills were further honed during a software development internship at Samsung R&D Institute Delhi, focusing on machine learning for network fault analysis. Aanchal holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT BHU, obtained in 2019.
