Peter Hansen has a diverse range of work experiences in the gaming and development industry. Peter started their career as a trainee at Workers Informática in 2000 and later worked as a developer at Wiz Technologies from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, they founded their own game development company, Nano Studio, where they took on various roles as the owner. During their time at Nano Studio, they gained expertise in technical aspects such as designing, programming, testing, and porting games and apps on multiple platforms. Peter also handled non-technical responsibilities such as recruiting, training, managing, and leading a team of over 10 people.

Following their tenure at Nano Studio, Peter worked as a Senior Developer at Relentless Software from 2014 to 2015, focusing on phygital experiences for Hasbro toys. Peter developed digital apps for toys like Furbacca and StarLily, My Magical Unicorn, and worked on app updates for Furby Boom.

In 2016, Peter joined Nordeus as a Senior Unity Developer for a brief period, followed by a role as a Freelance Developer at Snap Finger Click, where they worked on bugfixes, gameplay, UI, and build scripts for a game called "Act It Out! A Game of Charades" on Playstation 4.

Peter then moved to STUDIO GOBO in 2016 as a Lead Gameplay Developer, leading the gameplay team on the development of Forza Street and working on an augmented reality toys-to-life project. Peter used Unity, Vuforia, and OpenCV to build a custom toy tracking system.

Most recently, Peter joined FuturLab in 2018, initially as a Lead Programmer, where they contributed to the development of Mini-Mech Mayhem for PSVR. Peter then became the Head of Technology in July 2022, overseeing the development of various games, including PowerWash Simulator and Peaky Blinders: Mastermind.

Overall, Peter Hansen has accumulated extensive experience in technical game development, team management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Peter Hansen completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 2002 to 2005. Peter also obtained a certification as a Unity Certified Expert Gameplay Programmer from Unity Technologies in May 2017.
