Shawn Ferrell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, Ferrell worked as a Customer Service Representative at Harris Teeter until 2016. In 2015, Ferrell also took on the role of Marketing Intern at Susan G. Komen. From 2015 to 2016, Ferrell worked as an Event Manager at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In 2016, Ferrell joined Google as a Consumer Sales Coordinator, a position held until early 2018. At Discovery Education, Ferrell worked as an Associate Customer Success Manager from January 2018 to September 2018, and later as a Customer Success Manager from September 2018 to June 2022. During 2021, Ferrell briefly joined Google again as a Customer Acquisitions Manager. Currently, Ferrell is working as a Customer Success Manager at Gainsight, starting in June 2022.
Shawn Ferrell completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the Customer Success Leader Certified Professional from Gainsight in August 2022, the Customer Success Manager Certified Professional from Gainsight in June 2022, and certifications in "Articulating Your Value" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in November 2021.
