Mercedes Miller

Mercedes Miller has extensive experience in the field of event management and sales. Mercedes started their career in 1988 as a National Sales Manager at Stouffer Hotels and Resorts, where they were responsible for selling and coordinating numerous meetings and events. Mercedes worked there until 1994. From 1996 to 1999, they served as a National Sales Manager at the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. In 2000, they joined the Georgia International Convention Center as the Director of Sales, managing a team of sales and catering managers. Mercedes was later promoted to Assistant Executive Director and then Interim Executive Director, overseeing all operations and daily activities. In 2021, they took on the role of Interim City Manager at the City of College Park Georgia. Throughout their career, Mercedes has demonstrated strong leadership, budgeting, and customer relations skills.

Mercedes Miller completed a Certificate in the Graduate Institute at the International Association of Venue Managers in 2015. Prior to that, they studied Mediation at the Atlanta Justice Center from 2010 to 2015. In 2009, they attended the Public Assembly Facility Management School, focusing on Facilities Planning and Management. Mercedes also attended Morris Brown College from 1983 to 1988 and Harper High School from 1982 to 1983.
