Kyle Michelson

Kyle Michelson is the CEO of Getlabs. Kyle was previously the founder and CEO of Streamup, a live video streaming platform on web, iOS, and Android. Streamup grew to 24 million monthly active users with over 2 million concurrent users at peak hours. Kyle was also the founder of Instameet, a drop-in group video chatting platform where anyone could watch videos together and each viewer could stream themselves to see one another's reactions. As Instameet grew, they discovered more demand with one-way streaming and rebranded as Streamup.

Michelson began their career as an intern for The ONE Group in 2009 and Citi in 2008. In 2007, they interned for Senator Joseph Biden of the United States Senate. The following year, they interned for Congressman John Conyers of Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Kyle Michelson's educational career began at Y Combinator, where they studied streamup. Kyle then went on to study government and globalization at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Finally, they completed their studies with a degree in political science from the University of Southern California.
