Nikhil Varghese

Nikhil Varghese began their career in 2014 as a Global Technology Intern at Barclays Investment Bank, where they worked on stored procedures and C# to add new functionality to the existing system. In 2015, they took on roles as a Data Analyst and Full Stack Developer at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2016, they worked as a Blockchain Developer at Rise, created by Barclays. From 2018-2020, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they took 3 lab-intensive sections a week for a class of 120 students to demonstrate programming paradigms. In 2019, they were a Researcher and Mentor at the Alexa Prize Grand Socialbot Challenge 3 and the Science Internship Program, respectively. Finally, in 2020, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Got-It AI.

Nikhil Varghese completed their elementary and high school education at DAV Public School, Nerul from 1999 to 2011, where they studied Science. Nikhil then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans Sardar Patel Institute of Technology Munshi Nagar Andheri Mumbai from 2011 to 2015. Finally, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2018 to 2020.
