Manuel Botija

Manuel Botija has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Manuel currently holds the position of Senior Director of Product Management at GrAI Matter Labs, where they are involved in developing AI semiconductors for endpoint applications. Prior to this, Manuel served as a Senior Product Manager at Sequans Communications, where they played a pivotal role in defining product requirements, coordinating product delivery, and establishing the company as a leader in the LTE for IoT market. Manuel also held the role of Product Marketing Manager at Sequans, where they focused on product positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Before their time at Sequans, Manuel was the Product and Technical Lead at JuntoSalimos, an online social platform connecting entrepreneurs and mentors. During their tenure, they led the development of the platform and managed a team of freelance developers and designers. Manuel also had experience at Stretch Inc. as the EMEA Manager of Field Applications Engineering, where they built and managed the customer base and distribution network. Manuel also worked as a Field Application Engineer at Stretch Inc.

Manuel's early career included a role as an Embedded Software & Computer Vision R&D Engineer at Airbus, specifically in the Machine Learning applied to Computer Vision team at EADS Innovation Works. Their accomplishments at Airbus included porting and benchmarking algorithms for various hardware platforms.

Throughout their career, Manuel Botija has demonstrated expertise in product management, product marketing, team leadership, and technical skills in the field of semiconductors and computer vision.

Manuel Botija pursued their education in the field of telecommunications, electronics, and computing. Manuel attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a degree as a Telecommunications Engineer. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they attended Télécom Paris and earned a degree as an Ingénieur de Telecommunications, specializing in electronics and computing.

In addition to their formal education, Manuel Botija has obtained several certifications. Manuel completed "Probabilistic Deep Learning with TensorFlow 2" from Imperial College London in November 2021. Manuel also completed the "TensorFlow 2 for Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in the same month and year. Manuel also obtained certifications in customizing models with TensorFlow 2, getting started with TensorFlow 2, and machine learning from Imperial College London and Stanford University respectively, between August and July 2021. Furthermore, they received "PMC Level II" and "PMC Level I" certifications from Pragmatic Institute in July and June 2021 respectively. Most recently, in April 2022, Manuel Botija obtained the "Certified SAFE 5 POPM" certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training.
