Chris Day

Vice President, North America at Grain

Chris Day has extensive work experience in various roles across multiple companies. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Human Resource Generalist at ALGONQUIN GROUP INC., where they were responsible for production recruiting and ensuring new employees received orientation and training. In 2000, they joined Nortel Networks as a Recruiter before moving to Entrust Inc. as a Human Resource Prime/Recruiter. In 2004, they joined Custom House as an Account Executive, where they focused on corporate client sales, consultation of foreign exchange strategies, and foreign payment software sales. Chris then worked as an Advisor at CresaPartners from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Western Union Business Solutions, where they held various roles including National Account Manager, Manager of Payments & Partnerships, and Director of Payments & Partnerships. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of North America at Grain, starting in 2023.

Chris Day completed a three-year diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services at Canadore College from 1996 to 1999. Furthermore, from 2003 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurial Management at Royal Roads University.
