Wakana Fujisawa

Wakana Fujisawa has a diverse work experience history. Wakana started their career as an Engineer at Ericsson Japan in 1998. Wakana then worked as a Project Manager at WeComm in 2006. From 2004 to 2011, they held the role of Senior Project Manager at Mformation Technologies, where they managed the delivery of device management solutions to mobile operators and established a Japanese subsidiary. In 2011, they worked as a Client Manager at Chelsea Apps Factory, delivering mobile enterprise solutions for various brands. That same year, they also worked as a Project Manager (Contract) at GSMA, where they facilitated international meetings and drove industry-wide initiatives. In 2013, they worked as a Project Manager and later as a Project Director at GSMA, leading engagements and partnerships with the global connected car ecosystem. Wakana then took on roles as Programme Manager, Programme Director, and Portofolio Director, focusing on industry purpose and sustainable development within the mobile industry. In 2022, they became the Head of Project Delivery at GSMA.
