Jinyu Wang

Jinyu Wang is a Senior Scientist in Technology Development at Guardant Health, with a career spanning from May 2020 to the present, and prior roles as Scientist II and Scientist I in the same division. Previously, Jinyu Wang worked at Iowa State University as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2013 to December 2019, focusing on significant research projects related to genome evolution, DNA repair, and statistical modeling of genomic data. Key achievements include analyzing millions of polymorphic sites to discover evolutionary patterns, establishing connections between UV radiation and genome evolution, designing primers for experiments, and developing high-performance computing pipelines for genome-wide association studies. Earlier experience includes an Undergraduate Research Associate position at Shandong Agricultural University, where research concentrated on genetic mapping and functional studies in Arabidopsis thaliana.
