Letitia King James has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Their most recent position is as the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at GXO Logistics, Inc., which they started in November 2021. Prior to this, Letitia worked at Compass Group USA for several years. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, where they managed program development, budget monitoring, and event planning to support employee needs and meet corporate objectives. Before their role in diversity and inclusion, Letitia worked as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager at Compass Group USA from 2002 to 2017. In this role, they oversaw complex projects, collaborated with department leaders and senior executives, and reported project progress to the management team.

Letitia King James has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, with a focus in Business. Letitia also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Clayton State University.
