Mario Torres

Mario Torres is an experienced procurement and supply chain professional with an extensive background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement & Sourcing for the Western Hemisphere at Hanesbrands Inc. since July 2022, Mario also holds the position of Executive Director at Opex Academy, a consultant firm specializing in Operational Excellence. Previous roles include Supply Chain Director at Smith & Nephew, where responsibilities included optimizing supply chain structures, and Supply Chain (Materials) Director at Boston Scientific, focusing on process effectiveness and cost reduction. Mario's career began as a Process Engineer at Borden, and Mario has held key logistics management positions at Hanesbrands Inc. over several years.
