Sophie Valentine

VP Product Innovation at Healios

Sophie Valentine has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sophie started their career as a Premium Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk in 2012 and later became a Project Lead, leading multiple projects in areas such as product optimization and sales & marketing. In 2015, they joined the University of Bristol as a Research Associate, where they conducted research in the field of neurotechnology. Sophie then worked as an Honorary Researcher at the University of Bristol before moving on to Huma in 2020. At Huma, Sophie served as a Clinical Product Manager, leading strategic technical programs for the development of new clinical products. In 2019, they joined NeuroTechX as a Co-founder & Chapter Lead and later took on the role of Interim Operations Manager. Currently, Sophie is working at Healios as the VP of Product Innovation, where they lead strategy and operations for clinical product with a focus on mental health and neurodevelopmental needs.

Sophie Valentine has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Experimental Psychology and Statistics from the University of Bristol. Sophie also holds a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Experimental Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: "Unlocking Regulatory Success for Digital Health Product Developers" and "Applied Digital Health Ethics" from the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) in August 2023 and February 2023, respectively.
