Joel Goh has a diverse range of work experience. Joel is currently working at HealthServe Ltd as the Head of Mental Health & Community Services. Prior to that, they worked at Ngee Ann Polytechnic as an Associate, where they held various roles such as Lecturer/Adult Educator. In this role, they had multiple responsibilities including being a Module Leader, Examination Setter and Moderator, Course Level Coordinator/Advisor, and more. Joel taught various modules related to psychology, sociology, counseling, and social prescribing.

Before Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Joel worked at Trybe Limited for several years in different roles including Head of Casework, Counselling & Programmes, Head of Training & Development, and Assistant Manager of Project & Operations Management. Joel also served as a Trainer/Youth Mentor and Special Project Assistant during their time there. Overall, Joel has a strong background in mental health services, teaching, and community-based programs.

Joel Goh has a diverse education history in the field of psychology and counseling. Joel obtained a Master's degree in Counseling from Monash University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Murdoch University. Joel also holds a Diploma in Psychology and Community Services from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a Specialist Diploma in Counseling Psychology from ACC Institute of Human Services. Additionally, Joel attended Dunman Secondary School. In addition to their academic achievements, Joel has obtained several certifications, including Certified User for Youth Level of Service/ Case Management Inventory 2.0 (YLS/CMI 2.0) from the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), and DISC and Motivators Certified Trainer from TTI Success Insights. Joel has also completed various training programs in different areas such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Restorative Conferences, Managing Emotions in Times of Uncertainty & Stress, Psychological First Aid, Schema Therapy Professional Training, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Suicide Prevention, The Leadership Challenge, The Official Introduction to Transactional Analysis (TA101), WILEY Certified Data Analyst, and WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance.
