Kirk Johnson

Kirk Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Their most recent role is Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at HTLF. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School and a Sr. Associate General Counsel at Huntington National Bank.

From 2011 to 2021, Kirk held various positions at TCF Bank, including Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel - Corporate and Securities. Kirk was responsible for securities reporting, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and executive compensation.

Kirk Johnson attended Benilde-St. Margaret's High School from 1988 to 1991. Kirk then pursued their undergraduate degree, earning a BA with Honors in Political Science and Russian from Grinnell College between 1991 and 1995. Later, Kirk attended the University of Michigan Law School from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a JD specializing in Corporate Law.
