Heath Doty

Heath Doty has a wealth of experience in industrial design. Heath began their career in 2006 at The ROHO Group, Inc. as a Product Development and Research & Development professional. In 2007, they became an Adjunct Professor at Saint Louis University and was also voted in as Vice Chairperson for the IDSA St. Louis Chapter. That same year, they established their own industrial design company, Pellicle Design. In 2008, they took on the role of Product Design Manager at Cerf Brothers Bag Company, and in 2009 they became Creative Director and Senior Industrial Designer at PFI Holdings (Presence from Innovation + Jahabow). In 2016, they moved to Avient Corporation as Senior Industrial Designer, and in 2021 they became Product Development Manager at MTC Holsters, LLC. Most recently, Heath Doty has been appointed Director of Industrial Design at Hecto Group\u2122.

Heath Doty attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a BA in Design / Industrial Design. Prior to that, they attended Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1987 to 1988, studying Mechanical Engineering.
