Bill Ince has a wealth of experience in the engineering field. Bill started their career in 1984 at Midwest Microwave as a Product Design Engineer. Bill then moved on to General Dynamics Land Systems as a Senior Engineer in 1988. In 1993, they joined Ford Motor Company as an Electronics Technology Analyst and later transitioned to Visteon as a Lighting Product Design Technical Professional in 1998. Bill then moved to Magna Electronics in 2006 as a Lighting Technical Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Electronics Engineer at Hella since 2008.

Bill Ince began their education journey in 1979 when they enrolled at the University of Michigan. Bill pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Electro-Optics. Bill dedicated himself to their studies until 1984, completing their undergraduate degree.

After gaining a solid foundation in engineering, Bill Ince decided to further expand their knowledge and skills in the field of business. In 1988, they joined Eastern Michigan University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their time at Eastern Michigan University, Bill specialized in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on the general aspects of the field. Bill dedicated seven years to complete their postgraduate degree, successfully finishing in 1995.
