Jaideep Dudani

Jaideep Dudani has a strong background in the biotech industry and has held various roles throughout their career. Jaideep is currently working at HI-Bio as the Head of Portfolio Strategy and Management, where they oversee the development and management of the company's portfolio. Prior to this, they served as the Felzartamab Program Lead and the Head of Portfolio Development at the same company.

Before joining HI-Bio, Dudani worked as a Principal at Monograph Capital, where they were responsible for investment strategy and decision-making. Jaideep also has experience in the field of therapeutics, having worked as an Associate Director of New Opportunities at Relay Therapeutics.

In 2017, Dudani joined Vida Ventures, LLC as an Associate, where they were involved in biotech investing and company building. Their responsibilities included deal sourcing, due diligence, investment strategy, and developing innovative new companies. Jaideep focused on areas such as oncology, rare genetic diseases, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, ophthalmology, and cell & gene therapy.

Dudani's earlier experiences include working as a Technical Consultant at Glympse Bio and pursuing a Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). At MIT, they worked as a Ph.D. Candidate in the Laboratory for Multiscale Regenerative Technologies under the supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia. Their research focused on developing technologies to measure and perturb protease activity in vivo, with applications in monitoring antibiotic efficacy, early cancer detection, and intervention in aggressive prostate cancer. Jaideep published multiple research papers during their time at MIT.

Prior to their Ph.D., Dudani worked as a Research Assistant at UCLA in the Microfluidic Biotechnology Lab, where they conducted research on high-throughput cellular phenotyping using inertial microfluidics for diagnostics and analysis. Jaideep collaborated with clinicians at the David Geffen School of Medicine and published several papers in esteemed journals.

Dudani's educational background includes a Ph.D. from MIT and a bachelor's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, where they worked as a summer research assistant in the Neuroengineering Lab sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Jaideep Dudani pursued their educational journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering from UCLA, where they studied from the year 2009 to 2013. Continuing their academic pursuits, they then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2013 to 2018, completing a PhD in Biological Engineering.
