Vanessa Dojaquez-Torres

Vanessa Dojaquez-Torres has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Vanessa started their career as an Events Assistant at BIO5 from July 2010 to July 2012. Vanessa then joined the International Rescue Committee as a Program Manager from June 2016 to October 2017. After that, Vanessa worked at Jewish Family Service of San Diego, initially as an Immigration Litigation Coordinator from October 2017 onwards. Later, they took on the role of Immigration Advocate & HIAS Border Fellow from October 2019 to October 2022. Currently, Vanessa is employed at HIAS as a Policy Counsel, starting in October 2022.
