Position: Senior Data QA Analyst Reports To: Manager, Data Analytics Shift Timing: 12pm - 9pm IST This role is 100% remote for residents of India.

Who You Are: As a Senior QA Analyst, you bring a critical eye to every aspect of quality assurance, with a special focus on data integrity and visualization accuracy. Your expertise lies in ensuring that both Tableau dashboards and SQL queries meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You have deep experience testing and vetting dashboards and analytical products to ensure consistency and accuracy. With a strong background performing Quality Assurance for data teams, you are adept at identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies that others might overlook. Your meticulous approach to QA processes helps ensure that all data team deliverables are accurate, effective, and consistent with stakeholder requirements. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Dashboard QA: Conduct thorough end-to-end quality assurance testing of Tableau dashboards to ensure accuracy, usability, and performance. Identify and document visualization errors, data integration issues, and user experience improvements. Compare KPIs across dashboards to ensure consistency in results.
  • SQL Query Review: Examine and optimize SQL queries used for dashboard data sourcing. Ensure queries are free from errors, well documented, and consistent with stakeholder requirements. Perform backend validation.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both new and existing features. Execute detailed test scenarios and maintain meticulous records of tests and outcomes to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  • Documentation: Work to ensure that HighLevel’s set of documentation for dashboards and source transformations is as complete and accurate as possible. Maintain a library of reports/dashboards that provides users the ability to easily find reports/dashboards based on the business need.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the QA testing processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Advocate for best practices in quality assurance, including automation where appropriate.

Experience/Education/Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • 5+ years of QA experience, specifically in a role involving data visualization tools like Tableau, as well as relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience in reviewing and debugging SQL queries.
  • Advanced Tableau skills are required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions and formulas.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Tableau skills are required.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
