Aleyda Cervantes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple positions and organizations. At Highline College, they worked as an Outreach Program Coordinator, building relationships with community organizations and overseeing the student ambassador program. Aleyda later became the Outreach Program Manager, responsible for monitoring program activities. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Assistant for Outreach. At Western Washington University, they served as the Associated Students Vice President for Diversity, ensuring a commitment to diversity and inclusivity within the organization. Aleyda also held the role of Social Issues Resource Center Coordinator, facilitating events and promoting critical thought on social issues. At the College of Business and Economics at WWU, they worked as an Assistant Director of Development, supporting donor cultivation and stewardship efforts.
Aleyda Cervantes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History, Education, and Literature from Western Washington University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed high school at Gig Harbor High School from 2009 to 2013.
