Allan McCarthy

Allan McCarthy has work experience primarily in the field of automation engineering. Allan started their career in 2016 as an Undergraduate Automation Engineer at Zenith Technologies. In 2017, they joined the company again as a Graduate Automation Engineer, where they completed the Zenith Technologies Graduate Program and worked on a project for a Biopharmaceutical client in Switzerland, gaining experience in DeltaV training and development.

In 2018, Allan joined Horizon Controls Group as an Automation Engineer. Allan worked on multiple projects, including the implementation of a DeltaV DCS Control System for the Janssen Bio 2 Biopharmaceutical production building, where they collaborated with a team to complete code refinement and site acceptance testing. Allan also worked on another project, designing a DeltaV DCS Control System for the V116 vaccines production building, focusing on the downstream purification process and its interaction with DeltaV. Throughout their roles, Allan demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to generate reports and manage on-site change controls.
