Sherie Ambrose

Sherie Ambrose, DNP, MBA, RN, FACHE has a diverse work experience in healthcare leadership. Sherie currently serves as the Director of Quality and Compliance at By The Bay Health since February 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at University of San Francisco as an Adjunct Professor, B.E. Smith as an Interim Director, and senior leadership positions at Dignity Health, Kaiser Permanente, Presbyterian Homes & Services, and Sutter Health. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in operational leadership, nursing services, and quality healthcare provision.

Sherie Ambrose completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of San Francisco from 1976 to 1980. Sherie then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Health Services Administration from Golden Gate University between 1982 and 1992. Recently, they obtained their Doctorate Nurse Executive (NEx) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences from 2018 to 2021. In 2012, they also became certified as a Nurse Executive-BC by the ANCC. Additionally, Sherie Ambrose holds the title of Fellow American College of Healthcare Executives, obtained in 2016, and has completed multiple Social/Behavioral Research Courses through the CITI Program in 2021.
