Sabrin Lila

Director Talent Acquisition at Hydro One

Sabrin Lila has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Sabrin began their career as a Human Resources Administrator at Family Service Toronto in 2007. After that, they worked as a Human Resources Analyst at VHA Home HealthCare in 2008. Sabrin then joined Hydro One in 2009, starting as a Human Resources Associate and later becoming a Human Resources Business Partner. Sabrin went on to become the Manager of Leadership Development & Organizational Design, where they managed employee engagement programs and provided training on effective supervision. Sabrin then transitioned to the role of Manager of Compensation & HR Systems, responsible for overseeing compensation programs and HR systems. Sabrin was then promoted to Director of Compensation & HR Analytics, where they led the compensation decision-making process and managed over $100M in equity-based compensation. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Hydro One, responsible for recruitment and talent management.

Sabrin Lila attended the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources (MIRHR). Prior to that, they completed their Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2002 to 2006.
