Mia Jocic

Mia Jocic is a student employee at the University of Maryland working in prospect research and gaining experience in Ellucian Advance software. They also serve as the Laboratory Manager for Team UMaryland iGEM, collaborating on the development of CerviCare, a cervical precancer screening tool. In the past, Mia has interned at Lenox Hill Neurosurgery and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, where they optimized data organization and identified invasive species. Mia is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering at the University of Maryland.
