Alex Huang's work experience includes:

- Lead Reliability Engineer at Coherent Corp. since 2021. Responsibilities include defining reliability qualification strategies, conducting tests for 3D sensing VCSEL products, and deriving lifetime predictions and models through accelerated tests.

- Deputy Manager - Corporate Quality Assurance at Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Managed QC and reliability teams, monitored QC activities and major RMA for worldwide sites, and participated in NPI process for next generation datacenter and 5G products.

- Quality and Reliability Engineer at Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. Monitored IPQC/FQC data, conducted and analyzed reliability tests, and provided feedback to design/process engineering teams.

- Quality Engineer at Foxconn from 2012 to 2014. Supervised quality teams, ensured product quality complied with standards, and drove process improvements.

- Research Assistant at the Photovoltaic Laboratory at the University of Texas at Arlington from 2010 to 2012. Participated in NASA and industrial projects related to solar cells and performed thin film/solar device characterization.

Alex Huang completed a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, which was earned from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Alex obtained additional certifications as an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) internal auditor from 3M in October 2013, and as an OHSAS 18001 – ISO14001:2004 lead auditor from QAI in April 2013.
