Maud Jusot

Maud Jusot has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Maud currently holds the position of Senior Scientist, Computational Chemistry at Iktos since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Scientist, Computational Chemistry at Iktos from March 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Iktos, Maud worked as a PhD student in structural bioinformatics at Sorbonne University from October 2015 to September 2018. Maud'sresearch focused on describing the conformational space of cyclic peptides from the RGD family using a robotics-inspired approach and molecular dynamics simulations. Maud also developed a novel method called EGSCyP for modeling small cyclic peptides.

Maud also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII) from September 2015 to September 2018. Maud conducted advanced python programming sessions for second-year master's degree students in bioinformatics, taught bioinformatics tools to first-year master's degree students in biology, and introduced molecular dynamics and Unix to first-year master's degree students in biology.

Additionally, they completed a master internship in bioinformatics at Inria from January 2015 to July 2015, where they characterized viral proteins in terms of sequence and structure. During their master internship at UPMC - Sorbonne Universities from March 2014 to May 2014, they developed a new method for detecting horizontal gene transfers between viruses and diatoms.
