Justin Perkins

Justin Perkins has worked in the tech industry since 2000. Justin began their career as a Web Developer at Sun Sierra Software, where they performed consulting work for Health Net Federal Services. In 2004, they worked as a Web Developer for America's Lending Partners, where they took the site from a Dreamweaver generated layout to an all standards-compliant, CSS-driven layout. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Rails/UI Developer for Spiceworks, Inc. and then as a Developer of Stuff for DoStuff Media, where they worked as lead dev on a small team to build and maintain many Rails products and maintain legacy Rails product. In 2017, they became the CTO of Image Relay and is currently the Owner/Operator of The Number 6, providing frontend development consulting for various companies.

Justin Perkins attended California State University-Sacramento from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
