Emi Fogg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2016, Emi worked as a Student Employee at Brown University Dining Services until 2017. They then became an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Brown University from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Emi worked as a Shift Lead at Hometown Poké. In 2021, they held the role of UX Designer at Rabbit Rescue Las Vegas and Rabbit Savior Society, focusing on website research, design, and maintenance. In 2022, Emi joined Code for San Francisco as a Brigade Organizer and UX Researcher. Currently, starting in 2023, they are serving as a Research Operations Assistant Intern at Instawork. Additionally, Emi served as the Interim Director and later as the Associate Director of Design at Junior Wildlife Ranger, where they oversaw print and digital design projects and coordinated with stakeholders and the design team.
Emi Fogg attended Brown University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. In 2018, they also studied at Sophia University as a non-degree-seeking student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Emi Fogg has additional certifications, including "Data Driven Design - Quantitative Research for UX" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in December 2022, "Microsoft Reach Design Mentoring Program" obtained from Microsoft in December 2022, "UI Design Patterns for Successful Software" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2022, "Journey Mapping" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2022, "Human-Computer Interaction - HCI" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in November 2021, "User Research - Methods and Best Practices" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in November 2021, "Design Thinking: The Ultimate Guide" obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2021, and "ServSafe Food Handler" obtained from ServSafe Certified in May 2020. Emi also engaged in studies related to User Experience at The Interaction Design Foundation.
