Darryn Solomon

Darryn Solomon has extensive experience in the banking industry, having held various roles in different companies over the years. Darryn started their career at Standard Bank Group in 1995 as a Relationship Banker. In 1999, they joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Director and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Chief Representative of South Africa at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. In 2010, they joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking in South Africa, a position they held until 2014. Currently, they are the Global Head of Financial Institutions Group at Investec.

Darryn Solomon attended Harvard Business School from 2018 to 2019, completing the Program for Leadership Development 28. Prior to that, they studied at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1991 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and business economics.
