Philip Clay has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and leadership positions. Philip is currently working as the Vice President of Integrated Lab Operations, Global Supply & Workspace Solutions at Invitae. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Global Operations Strategy & Planning at Porex. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Senior Director of Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Kimberly-Clark, where they led a team responsible for various aspects of procurement, manufacturing, planning, quality, and engineering. Before that, they had a significant tenure at The Clorox Company, where they held roles such as New Business Supply Chain Design Leader, Supply Chain Business Leader, and New Products Commercialization Team Leader. Philip also has experience as a Plant Manager at Campbell Soup Company and as a Planning and Logistics Manager at The Clorox Company. Furthermore, they have held various leadership roles at The Clorox Company, and they started their career as a Process Engineer & Supervisor at Merck and as an Engineering Analyst at Teledyne Brown Engineering.

Philip Clay obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with honors from The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1993 to 1999. Philip then pursued an MBA in Strategy & Global Management at Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Additionally, they have a certification in Better Process Control School.
