Madleen Schübel

Madleen Schübel began their career in 2015 with a Bachelor thesis at the Universitätsklinikum Ulm (University Hospital Ulm). In 2016, they worked on a research project in the research group from Prof. Dr. Jörg Andrä at the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW Hamburg). In 2017, Madleen worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Grenzflächen- und Bioverfahrenstechnik IGB and completed their Masterthesis on the Optimization of product formation, protein expression and protein purification. In 2018, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist and was Labhead of the division Proteinservice at Geneart GmbH, responsible for the hitch-free workflow and organization of five lab members. In 2021, Madleen Schübel began their current role as Senior Research Associate at iOmx Therapeutics AG.

Madleen Schübel completed their Bachelor of Science in Pharmazeutische Biotechnologie from Fachhochschule Biberach in 2016. Madleen then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, which they completed in 2017.
