Olatz Cánovas currently serves as an Executive Support Manager and Project Manager for the Trent XWB LPT discs at ITP Aero, a position held since November 2016. In this role, Olatz leads a cross-functional team responsible for the design and manufacturing of components for the Trent XWB engine, utilized in the Airbus A350, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and stringent quality standards. Previously, Olatz acted as the ITP Aero Design Representative for the Trent XWB Project at Rolls-Royce, facilitating collaboration and communication between the two organizations. An experienced stress engineer, Olatz conducted analyses of turbine critical parts and fatigue testing at ITP Discs Center of Excellence. Olatz holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Thermal Power from Cranfield University and a Master in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad del País Vasco.
