Angel Gomez

Angel Gomez is an experienced immunology professional currently serving as an Immunology Scientist at ITR Laboratories Canada Inc. since October 2023, where responsibilities include acting as study director and principal investigator in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Prior to this role, Angel worked at Triumvira Immunologics, Inc. from July 2021 to August 2023 as a Process Development Scientist, overseeing flow cytometry analysis and optimizing multiparametric flow cytometry panels, and previously as a Process Development Associate focused on experiment design and execution of flow cytometry assays. Angel also has laboratory technician experience at B&A Health and Workplace Medical Corp., conducting RT-PCR testing for SARS-CoV-2. A visiting PhD student at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2019, Angel generated CAR T against cancer stem cell markers. Educational achievements include a PhD in Biological Science and a Master's degree in Biological Science, Biomedicine and Biomedical Sciences, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Cancer Biology.
