Christian Daumann

Christian Daumann, Vice President, is responsible for investments in Germany. In this capacity, he is responsible for the deployment of their pan-European strategy and the growth of their real estate investments in Germany, focusing on the office, logistics, residential and mixed real estate sectors.

Christian has over 26 years of experience in commercial real estate investing, asset management and opportunistic mortgage investing.

After beginning his career with the commercial bank Helaba, Christian joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 where he held the position of Vice President responsible for the management of the real estate assets of the principals in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and in Austria. He was also responsible for investments in mortgages.

From 2008 to 2012, he led LNR Group, owned by Cerberus, in Germany and helped grow the Hatfield Philips Special Servicing affiliate platform to €4.5 billion under management. At the same time, Christian was a member of the board of directors of Anterra AG, a listed company, where he was responsible for real estate investments and asset management.

Subsequently, Christian became a member of the board of directors of the German-British company CR Investment Management and helped to expand the group's activities in the underwriting, advisory and loan management on a global scale. European.

From 2015 to 2018, he was managing director and chief investment officer of Hamburg Trust, an investment manager owned by Colony Capital, where he was responsible for all investments and the management of real estate assets, in particular investments in the office, residential and retail sectors.

Christian is a graduate of the University of Bayreuth and holds two state law degrees.
