Jacob M.

Jacob M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jacob currently works at Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona as a Community Impact Manager, focusing on leadership development. Prior to this role, they were a Project Coordinator at the same organization.

Before joining Jewish Philanthropies, Jacob worked at Amazon as an Area Manager, where they managed a team of 50-100 hourly associates in an Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Center. Jacob was responsible for maintaining staffing levels, driving performance rates, and completing administrative deliverables.

Jacob also had experience with humanitarian work at No More Deaths • No Más Muertes, where they served as a Keep Tucson Together Intern. Their responsibilities included managing a database of active cases and communicating important hearing information to primarily Spanish-speaking clients.

In the political realm, Jacob was a Campaign Intern for Steve Farley's mayoral campaign.

During their time at the University of Arizona, Jacob took on various roles, including Research Assistant and Challenge Course Facilitator.

Before starting their professional career, Jacob gained experience in the food service industry as a Food Service Worker at Illegal Pete's, and as a seasonal Server at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Jacob M. began their education in 2012 at Cate School, where they pursued an Honors degree. Jacob studied at Cate School until 2016. In 2015, they also briefly attended High Mountain Institute. From 2017 to 2021, Jacob pursued a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Arizona.
