Chris Nyaga

Chris Nyaga has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple roles and companies. Chris is currently working as the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Jumia Kenya since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Logistics at Jumia Group from 2022 to 2023. From 2021 to 2022, they were the General Manager of East Africa - Sendy Fulfillment at Sendy Ltd, and also held the position of Country Manager from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as the Country Manager for Jumia Services from 2019 to 2020 and served as the Chief Operations Officer at Jumia Uganda from 2018 to 2019. Chris also has experience in the e-commerce industry, having worked as the Operations Director at BeautyClick from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they held the position of Head of Logistics at Kilimall from 2015 to 2016 and worked as the Logistics and Transport Manager at Millenium Dealers Ltd from 2010 to 2015. Chris started their career as an Accounts Assistant at Kisima Farms Pinguone Ranch in 2002. Chris also had a brief experience as a DSR at KCB Bank Group from 2008 to 2010.

Chris Nyaga has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance, General from Kenyatta University. Additionally, they have pursued an MSc in Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics from the University of London.
