Deryck Fullwood

Deryck Fullwood has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Deryck began their career at Deutsche Bank as a Data Clerk in the back-office operations team, where they were responsible for maintaining static data for OTC derivative trades. Deryck then worked at Moxwood Pty, LTD as an Operations Manager, overseeing order fulfillment and serving as a liaison between sales, operations, procurement, and shipping.

Deryck's experience in the yacht industry includes roles at Wind & Sea Yacht Services Inc. and Superyacht Management LLC. At Wind & Sea Yacht Services Inc., they served as a Yacht Captain, managing daily onboard operations and leading a team of 9. Later, at Superyacht Management LLC, they became an Operations Manager, responsible for various aspects of yacht operations, including logistics, provisioning, safety, and budgets.

Deryck also gained experience in the logistics industry during their time at Amazon Logistics. As an Area Manager II, they were in charge of sortation operations, ensuring safety, quality assurance, productivity, and compliance, while managing a staff of over 120.

Currently, Deryck is working as the General Manager at Kaiyo, leading the DMV regional headquarters. Their responsibilities include directing operations managers, supervisors, and processing trainers to achieve logistics and processing goals.

Throughout their career, Deryck has demonstrated strong leadership skills, team management abilities, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence. Deryck has successfully trained and developed teams, cultivated a culture of respect and professionalism, and utilized data reporting to drive meaningful action.

Deryck Fullwood attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree with a specialization in Economics.
