Eitan Dehtyar

Eitan has 30 years of experience in the resource, banking, finance and logistics sectors, in Canada and abroad, and provides strategic advice to companies and regulators on a wide range of topics. Eitan's practice focuses on finance, governance, capacity building and ESG.

Previously, as CFO of an international aerospace and defense contractor, Eitan guided the organization through its restructuring. As Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning for Canada's largest northern logistics company, he led a privatization transaction, a sale to the largest aboriginal private equity firm in Canada and tenfold revenue growth that included the development of Indigenous joint ventures across Canada.

His other projects include hybrid airship development, cannabis mining, geophysical artificial intelligence, and manufacturing operations on the International Space Station.

Eitan's extensive governance experience includes community, industry and government boards and tribunals. He volunteers on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations in the education and health care sectors, as well as the financial literacy program of CPA Canada and the Canadian Assistance Service. organizations (SACO).

He is a graduate of Queen's University, where he earned a Masters in Business Administration. He holds the CPA and CMA designations and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors' Directors Education Program (ICD.D).
