Cikü also conducted internal control assessments, prepared audit reports, and reviewed statutory accounts for compliance. Later, they served as a Manager, specializing in financial due diligence, business valuations, and financial modeling for clients such as private equity firms and multinational organizations. In addition, they acted as an Accredited Trainer, organizing and facilitating training courses for KPMG staff and clients.

During a six-month exchange program in 2015, Cikü worked at KPMG India as a Senior Financial Analyst. Cikü participated in financial and tax due diligence and valuation services for healthcare and e-commerce transactions.

Cikü Mugambi completed a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi from 2006 to 2010. Cikü then pursued a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification at Strathmore University from 2006 to 2011. In 2012, they obtained a Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, they attended the Strathmore Business School (SBS) and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.
