Thomas Ani has diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Thomas started their career in 2012 at WellFort CHS, where they worked as a Nurse Practitioner student until 2014. In 2015, they joined Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association as a Primary Care NP, then moved on to CommunityMD in Brampton as a Primary Care Practitioner. Later in 2015, Thomas worked as an NP Consultant at Healthone Medical in Toronto and as a Clinical Consultant (IT) at Delveglobal. In 2015, they also served as a Sub Investigator-Clinical Research at Lambda Therapeutic Research. From 2015 to 2016, Thomas worked as a Primary Care Practitioner at Hamilton FHO. In 2017, they joined Belmont Medical as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and also worked at Universal Healthcare LTC-Villa Colombo as the Clinical Director of Care-NP. Additionally, Thomas provided NP consulting services through their own company, Thomas NP Consulting Services.

Thomas Ani completed their Master's Degree in Msc-CH (HPTE) from the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2019. Thomas also obtained a Nurse Practitioner-primary care degree from SIAST between 2012 and 2014. In 2010, they earned a Graduate Nurse Educator Certificate from George Borwn College. Additionally, Thomas Ani holds a Diabetes Educator Graduate Certificate from The Michener Institute, which they completed from 2008 to 2009. Furthermore, they received a certification as a Certified Medical Surgical Nurse (CMSNC) from CNA (specific start and end years are not provided).
