Samiha Barkat

Samiha Barkat is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program design, monitoring, evaluation, and data management. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director and Board Member at Giving Joy since January 2021 and as Group Manager for Research, Evaluation & Data at Launch Housing since August 2021, Samiha has held various roles in prominent consulting firms. Previous positions include Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant at Clear Horizon Consulting from September 2017 to December 2020, as well as Project Director and Consultant at Cardno Emerging Markets (Australia) Pty Ltd from January 2011 to September 2017. Samiha's early career includes roles as Senior Development Associate and Development Associate at Management Sciences for Health and an Associate Finance and Contracts Administrator at Abt Associates. Samiha holds a Master of Public Health in International Health from Boston University and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
