Harsh Sahu's work experience includes positions at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB), Verka, and the Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Dairy Federation.

At the Leibniz Institute, Harsh started as a Graduate Research Assistant in April 2021 and investigated the spatial distribution of methane and ammonia emissions in a naturally ventilated dairy barn. Harsh'sresponsibilities included setting up the experiments and constructing sampling lines. In 2022, Harsh took on the role of a Research Scientist.

At Verka, Harsh worked as an Intern from January 2019 to May 2019. Harsh was involved in milk and milk products processing/manufacturing, quality assurance/quality control/HACCP, data logging, record keeping, and the procurement of raw milk from dairy societies.

During their time at the Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Dairy Federation, Harsh held an Intern position from August 2018 to November 2018. Harsh'stasks included labor handling, working in industrial day-night shifts, procurement of raw milk from dairy societies, solid waste management, and effluent treatment.

Harsh Sahu completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Dairy Science and food technology from the College of Dairy Technology in 2019. Harsh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Dairy Science at Kiel University from 2019 to 2021. Harsh obtained certifications as a Conference Speaker from VDI Wissensforum GmbH in November 2022 and as a Certified Data Scientist from The Johns Hopkins University in May 2021. Currently, they are enrolled at Freie Universität Berlin, working towards obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with an expected completion date in 2023.
