Ricardo Tejero has over 30 years of work experience in various industries and roles. Ricardo started their career as a Financial Controller at Centros Comerciales Continente in 1991 before moving on to NH Hotel Group as a Financial Control Deputy. In 1996, they became the COO at Gestion de Logistica Editorial, where they were responsible for IT services and human resources.

Tejero then joined Leroy Merlin in 2002, where they held multiple roles, including Demand Planning and Store Logistics Director, Organization & Digital Transformation Director, and Human Change & Transformation Director. During their time at Leroy Merlin, they led the cultural transformation of the company, developed agile leadership strategies, and integrated supply chain vision.

In 2015, Tejero founded and owned MAD Classics, a family business specializing in classic car restoration and trading services. Ricardo carried out 10 complete restorations and worked on over 50 cars in Spain and Germany.

Tejero also worked at AUCHANDIRECT as the COO, leading the startup of online supermarkets in Spain and managing supply chain and operations. Additionally, they served as the General Manager for the Madrid and Barcelona areas at Gestion de Logistica Editorial, overseeing logistic services and sales planning for prominent publishing companies.

Tejero's most recent role was as a Team Mentor in the IPA program at Esade in 2018, where they provided guidance and development for a dedicated team and advised on their business projects.

Ricardo Tejero completed a Specialization Program in Futures Thinking at the Institute for the Future from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from IESE Business School in 2007. Ricardo also holds a University Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which they completed from 1986 to 1991.
