Amy Carroll

Amy Carroll has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Amy is currently the Head of Medical Affairs at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of US Medical Affairs at Zealand Pharma. Amy was also the Head of US Field Medical Affairs at Takeda Oncology. Amy has held positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Director of North America Medical Affairs, Clinical NGS Oncology. Amy has also worked at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Medical Director. In addition, Amy has held various roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Amy started their career at Amylin Pharmaceuticals and MitoKor, Inc. as a Scientist and Sr. Research Scientist, respectively.

Amy Carroll completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of San Diego from 1987 to 1991. Amy then pursued their Master's degree in Zoology at the University of Maine from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maine from 1994 to 1997.
