Carlos del Corral

Carlos del Corral has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2000. Carlos began their career as an Intern at Ata Gears in 2000. Carlos then moved on to be a Research Scientist at Tampere University of Technology in 2001. From 2003 to 2008, del Corral worked as a Product Development Manager and Engineer at Ensto, a Marketing Consultant at Owlstone, a Strategy Consultant at Samsung Electronics, and a Strategy Consultant at Nokia Mobile Phones. In 2009, they were appointed Director of Mobile Phone Insights at Nokia, where they were an advisor for the president and their leadership team, productizing ad-hoc research projects into a research asset portfolio. In 2014, del Corral moved to Microsoft as Director of Mobile Data Insights and Innovation. Most recently, they have been the Co Founder and CEO of Lumoa, a Helsinki-based technology startup that uses AI to help companies understand customer satisfaction.

Carlos del Corral completed their MBA at the University of Cambridge in 2009. Carlos also holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Zaragoza, which they obtained between 1993 and 2004. From 1999 to 2001, they completed an MSc Engineer in Machine Design and Industrial Management at the Tampere University of Technology. Carlos has also completed executive education at Aalto University Executive Education Ltd.
